- The owner wanted native apps first.
- My decision
- I pushed back and launched a web app (PWA) for MSME owners, with on-stage training at the launch event.
- Result
- 1,200 users registered on launch day. Flutter apps came 6–7 months later, and are now on iOS and Android.
- Team
- I brought in Agile after feedback that I said yes to everything, and built a 17+ member team.

- Problem
- I led a 7-member team on an app at 22,000–49,000 daily active users. We moved payments to the native Razorpay SDK, and at scale some paid orders were missed because webhooks weren’t handled.
- My decision
- I fixed it with webhooks to the backend plus a daily reconciliation.
- Lesson
- Probe failure cases. Don’t just trust “it works”.
