Get paid without chasingThe fee reminder app for Indian businesses.

Scale sends the fee reminder on WhatsApp — before it is due, on the day, and again when it is late. Then it stops.

No ads inside the app. Nothing watching how you work.

Nobody refused to pay you. They were never asked.

You know who is late.

You know exactly how much.

You still have not asked.

Asking for your own money feels like begging for it, so the message waits until next week, and next week it waits again. The fee was never refused. It was just never chased.

Scale makes the ask for you. Politely, and on time.

How it works

Five steps, and four of them are not yours.

Set a customer up once. After that the only thing Scale needs from you is confirmation that the money arrived.

  1. 1

    Add the customer

Name and mobile number. Pull them in from your phone contacts if they are already there.

  2. 2

    Set the fee

The amount and the day you expect to be paid. Switch on repeats monthly and you enter it once, not every month.

  3. 3

    Scale reminds them on WhatsApp

A short message with the amount, the date and a pay link — sent for you on the Starter plan, or written for you to send yourself on Free.

  4. 4

    They pay by UPI

The link opens a page with no login and no app to install. They pay into your UPI ID, the same one you already use.

  5. 5

You confirm, and next month is created

Mark it paid and the reminders stop at once. If the fee repeats, Scale writes next month's payment the moment you do.

The Mark as paid sheet in Scale Partner for ₹1,500 from Anil Kumar. A note reads that Scale will create the next payment of ₹1,500 for 3 October 2026, and the owner picks how they were paid: cash, UPI, bank transfer or other.
The ladder

Five messages. Then it stops for ever.

A reminder that never ends is a reason to block the sender. Scale climbs a fixed ladder and then leaves your customer alone.

  1. 1Before due

A heads-up a few days early. You choose how many, or switch it off.

  2. 2On the due date

The amount, the date, and a link to pay.

  3. 33 days late

    A short nudge.

  4. 47 days late

    One more.

  5. 514 days late

The last one Scale will ever send for this payment.

Then nothing. For ever.

If your customer says they have already paid, Scale goes quiet and waits for you.

The pay page has an I have paid button. When somebody taps it, every remaining reminder for that payment is paused and you are told. Scale does not treat it as payment, does not mark anything paid and does not close the payment — it simply stops asking until you have checked your account and confirmed it yourself.

It stops when you mark it paid

The moment the payment is marked paid, every reminder still queued for it is cancelled.

It stops after the fifth message

There is no sixth reminder in the app. Fourteen days late is the end of the ladder, whether or not the money came.

It goes quiet at night

Nothing is sent between 9pm and 9am. A fee reminder at eleven at night reads as harassment, so it waits for the morning.

You can switch it off for one customer

Some customers you would rather ask yourself. Turn reminders off for that one person and the rest carry on as normal.

Who it is for

If you bill the same people every month.

The trade does not matter much. What matters is that the same names come back next month, for the same amount, and somebody has to ask.

  • Coaching and tuition classes
  • Gyms and studios
  • Yoga and dance classes
  • Sports academies
  • Tiffin services
  • Cable and internet operators
  • Housing societies

The money never touches us.

This is the part worth being blunt about. Scale chases the payment. It does not receive it.

They pay into your UPI ID

The one you already use. The pay link opens UPI on your customer's phone with your ID and the amount filled in, and the money lands in your account the way it always has.

Scale is not a bank

No money passes through Scale, and none is held for you. We never ask for a card, a bank account or a settlement account, because there is nothing here to settle.

Nothing to reconcile with us

There is no balance of yours sitting with Scale, no payout waiting on a cycle, and no fee taken off the top. What your customer sends you is what you get.

FAQ

The questions people actually ask.

Is my customers' money safe with you?

Your customers' money never reaches us. They pay into your own UPI ID, straight from their own banking app, exactly as they would if you had sent them the details yourself. Scale is not a bank, holds no balance for you and takes nothing off the top.

Do my customers need to download anything?

No. The reminder carries a link that opens an ordinary web page — no login, no sign-up, nothing to install. They see the amount, they pay by UPI, and that is the end of it.

Will it spam my customers?

It cannot. Scale sends at most five messages about one payment — before it is due, on the day, then three, seven and fourteen days late — and then stops for ever. Nothing is sent between 9pm and 9am. You can switch reminders off for any single customer, and marking a payment paid cancels everything still queued for it.

What if it chases someone who already paid?

Mark the payment paid and every reminder still waiting for it is cancelled at once. If you have not recorded it yet, your customer can tap 'I have paid' on the pay page: Scale goes quiet and waits for you. It does not treat that as payment and it does not close anything — it stops asking until you have checked your account and confirmed it yourself.

What are message packs?

Every WhatsApp reminder costs a message. Free includes 25 a month and Starter includes 500, which is enough for most businesses. If you run out, you can buy more through Google Play: 200 messages for ₹50, 1,000 for ₹250, or 5,000 for ₹1,000. Bought messages do not expire, and your monthly allowance refills on its own.

Can I cancel?

Yes, from your Google Play account, in two taps, with no email to us and no notice period. The plan keeps working until the end of the month you have paid for, then the app drops back to Free. Your customers and your records stay where they are.

Can I take payments through Scale?

No, and that is deliberate. Scale keeps the record and does the asking; the money goes directly from your customer to you, by UPI, cash, bank transfer or whatever you already use. You then mark it paid in the app.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet. Scale is an Android app, on Google Play.

How do I get in touch?

Email support@scaleeye.in. You will be talking to the people who actually make the app.
